It's time to try something new.

Hi! I recently decided it was time to update my work toolkit. Still, when trying to find a selection of AI tools, I only saw endless and tedious suggestions to try ChatGPT, Gemini, and other mainstream solutions. (Seriously, you guys aren't even trying.)

So, I went on Product Hunt and gathered 10 useful AI tools that you (probably) haven't heard of but will be helpful to creators and freelancers.

Let's briefly review and discuss the case for using them.

AI Tools for Creatives & Freelancers

A modern, sleek illustration depicting a clutter-free workspace with a mix of ai-powered tools and creative essentials, tailored for freelancers and creatives, set against a calming, soft blue background that evokes productivity and innovation. At the center, a cutting-edge laptop with a vibrant, high-resolution screen showcases a futuristic AI interface, surrounded by scattered papers, a few artistic pens, and a minimalist ergonomic chair in the background. A elegant, curved desk lamp with a warm, golden glow casts a subtle shadow on the surface, adding a touch of sophistication. Incorporating a subtle blend of warm pastel colors, the palette combines hues of creamy whites, soothing blues, and accents of rich wood tones. The overall aesthetic is clean, futuristic, and inspiring, with bold lines and geometric shapes, while maintaining a sense of cozy, creative comfort.

Assista AI | General Productivity

Assista AI calls itself the central nervous system for all your productivity apps. This platform integrates with your social media and work services, including Gmail, Google Calendar, LinkedIn, and Notion, and then turns your interactions into one chatbot.

So, no more switching between dozens of tabs, messing up files and forgetting tasks. This tool suits many freelancers, including copywriters and designers, but business professionals and knowledge workers will especially appreciate it.

My Notion and Gmail are absolute chaos with unsorted drafts, lost messages, and unnamed files. Hopefully at least this tool will solve my problems.

Mapify | Mind Maps with AI

Honestly, I would include this tool on our list even if it didn't have AI. Mapify turns content into mind maps in various formats, including YouTube videos, PDFs/Docs, URLs, and more. The idea is to use GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, and other LLMs to decompose any information into its key components. That way, it is much easier to work with it or, for example, learn new skills and knowledge.

If you sometimes have the urge to be a bit of Sherlock Holmes by arranging buttons on the wall and running ribbons to them, you should try Mapify.
Plus, it'll be two birds with one stone: not only will you be more productive, but you'll also be trying a new way to interact with content.

CompanyGPT 2.0 | Search Engine for Companies & People

CompanyGPT 2.0 is useful for those who often need data on companies and media personalities. It's a valuable solution for various professionals, from creators looking for partners and clients to investors who need real-time analytics. Freelancers can also use this to vet potential employers.

Lately, I've increasingly believed that Google is becoming less valuable. A glut of SEO-optimized content, promotional offers, and non-ideal search algorithms often prevent people from getting the results they want. Tools like CompanyGPT frequently solve such problems.

EezyCollab | Influencer Marketing Tool

Without getting too far away from finding useful contacts, let's mention another good tool—EezyCollab. This platform is, in many ways, similar to what CompanyGPT offers but focuses more on interacting with Influencers. EezyCollab allows you to search for people in different niches and on different social networks and then get contacts to connect with.

Personally, I see this tool as useful not only for marketers, but also for other professionals like journalists and business analysts. Definitely worth keeping in your bookmarks.

SkimAI | Copilot for Your Inbox

SkimAI is your email assistant. It automatically categorizes incoming messages, synchronizes different clients, and helps you write emails with AI. The developers say that SkimAI saves an hour a day on average for those who frequently work with Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail. It's free to try SkimAI, and then the platform will charge a $5 monthly subscription fee.

I don't think this tool needs a separate comment. If Assista didn't suit you because of too many features, feel free to try Skim.

Speech to Note | Save Your Thoughts

The name Speech to Note speaks for itself. This AI is designed to convert speech into written text. Besides simple transcribing, it also summarizes the received information, turning your audio into short but informative notes. Speech to Note supports many languages and custom tags and allows you to edit your saved files. It is suitable for those who often generate new ideas and don't have time to write them down.

I think the simplest tools give the greatest ease of use. In the case of Speech to Note, you can use AI to prepare social media posts, transcribe interviews, or create newsletters, for example. It all depends on your imagination.

Kimblur | AI-Powered Presentations

Kimblur is a tool specifically for those who are tired of creating presentations. It simplifies content creation by analyzing text, data, and user input to create professional, visually appealing slides. Users can input raw content or ideas, and the tool intelligently formats organizes, and designs slides for clarity and impact. The AI creates almost everything: layouts, graphics, and visual elements based on the theme and purpose of the presentation.

Kimblur is a good fit for those who have trouble creating visually appealing content. Even if you don't succeed in creating fully finished slides, you'll get a good starting point.

Bizway | Launch Your Business Faster

Bizway is an automation platform for young entrepreneurs. The tool optimizes hundreds of small tasks and structures business-critical information. For example, the AI collects your business ideas, research, and reports in one place and can then use it all to generate a roadmap. It also allows you to share a customized pitch page with friends and colleagues to get feedback.

I'm not a big fan of tools that promise to build a successful business for you. But Bizway doesn't do that. With this AI, it's just a little easier to get your processes in place without going crazy.
Speaking of building a startup and not going crazy. One of the easiest ways to do this is to use AI wrappers and boilerplates.

StudyMap AI | Learn Any Skill With AI

Studymap AI is another good tool for learning new skills. The platform turns different types of content (including YouTube videos) into courses and quizzes, allows you to use various online resources, and tracks your progress. In doing so, you can learn anything: a new programming language, cooking, design, writing, or more specific areas.

I know a lot of people use ChatGPT as a personal tutor (I've used it that way myself). It's not a bad solution, but it limits the process quite a bit. If you like learning using AI, I suggest trying Studymap.

Infinity AI | Own GenAI Memes in Seconds

As the last tool on our list, I chose maybe not the most practical, but definitely one of the most fun AI tools. Infinity AI allows you to create your own animated memes or animate existing ones. The whole process consists of three very simple steps, and the job is done in a couple minutes. You can use it in chats with friends or share it on social media.

While at first glance it may seem like Infinity AI has no real application scenarios, it can be a good fit for creators at TikTok & Shorts. If you create a really funny meme, you'll definitely hold the attention of a bored user.
